Prabhu Deva is married to a beautiful woman Ramlatha. She changed her name to Latha from Ramlatha. The couple has three kids but their first son died of cancer in 2008. His wife once filed a petition in the family court in 2010, where she wanted to block Prabhu Deva from marrying actress Nayantara. She also threatened to go on hunger strike if they insisted on marrying each other. His first appearance is in the movie Mouna Ragam done in 1986. He appeared as a boy playing flute in one of the songs that played in the movie.
